The Chelsea Flower Show -
May 19 to 22
Held in the grounds of the
Royal Hospital at Chelsea, this most prestigious event in the horticultural
calendar attracts visitors from all over the world. Tickets strictly limited and
sold in advance. Admission 19 and 20 May to members of RHS, only 21 and 22 are
open to the general public. Open 8am to 8pm.
Notting Hill Carnival

Held at Ladbroke Grove and
Notting Hill Gate.
Pearly Harvest Festival
- 1st Sunday of October
Held at 3pm on the 1st Sunday
of October at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Pearly families attend harvest service
clad in traditional costumes: suites covered in hand sewn pearl buttons, hats
trimmed with Ostritch feathers. Pearlies help raise money for charity and can
often be seen at city events.
