The British Airways London Eye

The London Eye is sometimes called a Ferris Wheel but this description is not accurate. The Eye is an observation wheel and many of it's predecessors were called by the same name. It is the largest observation wheel in the world standing 135 meters tall, the previous record was 85 meters.The nearest underground stations to the "Wheel" are Embankment, Waterloo and Charing Cross. Waterloo East and Charing Cross are the closest mainline stations. The London Eye is currently open from 10:00 until 21:30. Prices are as follows;

  • Adult: £7.45
  • Child: £4.95
  • Senior Citizen: £5.95
